How long are your travel assignments?
Travel assignments are usually 13 weeks (3 months). Most assignments usually end up longer if you and the facility agree to extend beyond the original contract time. We’ve had technologists extend beyond 52 weeks because they loved their job so much.

Where do I stay while on assignment?
Your staffing specialist will setup private lodging for you while you are on assignment.

Who makes the travel arrangements?
Your staffing specialist will make all the arrangements for lodging, airfare, and car so that when you arrive, you’ll just have to move in with your suitcase. Before you leave to your assignment, your staffing specialist will have your
itinerary, hospital contact information, and directions sent to you so that you plan accordingly.

When do I get paid?
Technologists are paid every two weeks based on their timesheets. Our technologists turn in a timesheet, signed by their supervisor, at the end of
the work week. We can either mail you the check, or setup direct deposit into your bank account. It’s as simple as that.

Which is better? 1099 or W-2?
This is a question we have heard many times. In short, 1099 is a better option for you because of the tax benefits that you can claim, which will end up saving you much more than if you were a W-2 employee. Contact your staffing specialist for more details or your tax accountant with questions you may have about this.

Do you only do travel assignments, or do you also do permanent placements?
We do both permanent and temporary placements. Whether permanent or temporary, your staffing specialist will work with you to find the career
opportunity of your dreams.
