MRI Technologist

MRI Tech - ARRT(MR)

MRI Technologists are responsible for capturing images of internal organs and tissues using magnetic resonance imaging equipment.  Some job duties include:  preparing patients for exams, positioning patients and equipment, interpreting the physician’s scanning instructions, operating MRI equipment to capture images, completing records and reports concerning MRI scans, and maintaining MRI equipment.  MRI technologists are required to complete a two to four year program in MRI that leads to a certificate, Associate’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree in magnetic resonance imaging.  They are also required to be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI.  The state of Washington is the only state that requires licensure to practice MRI.

V Platinum Consulting can find temporary or permanent positions nationwide for MRI technologists that have at least one year of experience in magnetic resonance imaging.  Our company also offers health insurance with the American Worker and 401k for employees who have worked with V Platinum for a full calendar year.
