Physical Therapists

Physical Therapist - PT

Physical therapists are responsible for assessing and providing therapeutic treatments to alleviate pain, maintain, improve, or restore function, and prevent dysfunction resulting from injury or disease.  Some job duties include:  evaluating patients, educating patients on exercises to improve function, developing treatment plans, educating patients and their families on adaptive equipment, and maintaining records on the patients’ progression.  All physical therapists are required to complete a minimum of a four year program leading to a Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, as well as be certified by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.  In addition, all states require physical therapists to be licensed to practice in that state.

V Platinum Consulting finds travel or permanent assignments for physical therapists in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient and outpatient settings, home health settings, and school systems.  One year of physical therapy experience is preferred; however, we can find assignments for new graduates that meet the education and certification requirement, even if they have minimal experience.
