Vascular Tech- RVT, RVS

Vascular Technologists, also known as vascular sonographers, are responsible for capturing images of the body’s veins and arteries in order to help physicians see and evaluate blockages to blood flow.  Some job duties include:  preparing patients for exams, positioning the patient, operating vascular ultrasound equipment to capture images, completing reports and records concerning the vascular procedures, and maintaining the ultrasound equipment.  Ultrasound technologists must complete a two to four year program that leads to a certificate, Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree in ultrasound.  They must receive certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Vascular Technology or Cardiovascular Credentialing International in Vascular Sonography.

V Platinum Consulting can find temporary or permanent positions nationwide for vascular technologists that have at least one year of experience in vascular ultrasound.  Our company also offers health insurance with the American Worker and 401k for employees who have worked with V Platinum for a full calendar year.
