Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Therapist - SLP

Speech Language Pathologists are responsible for the assessment, treatment, and prevention of communication disorders that can affect individuals of any age.  Some job duties include:  conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, maintaining records of the patients’ progress, counseling patients and family on communication disorders, and teaching exercises and techniques to patients in order to improve communication.  Speech Language Pathologists are required to have a minimum of a Master’s degree in speech language pathology, in addition to being certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  A Certificate of Clinical Competence is also required.

V Platinum Consulting finds travel or permanent assignments nationwide for speech language pathologists in skilled nursing facilities, inpatient and outpatient settings, home health settings, and school systems.  One year of speech language pathology experience is preferred; however, we are able to find assignments for new graduates that meet the education and certification requirements, even if they have minimal experience.  Our company also offers health insurance with the American Worker and 401k for employees who have worked with V Platinum for a full calendar year.
